French vitreous-enameled steel tile

The vitreous is the fussion of the glass with the metal. This results in a new material with a permanent beauty of colors and the firmness of the metal. Objects that had been vitreous for more than 800 years ago have been found in perfect conditions.

Technical descriptions

  • Dimensions: It is a panel of vitreous enameled steel , with a thickness of 0,5 mm (0,1) long and 408 mm wide.
  • Weight: 2.64 kg. per panel
  •  Application: arquitectural panel design for residential and commercial use.
  • Weather resistance: it can be installed in tropical, sub-tropical, artic and templade areas.
  • Finish: the process of vitrification is the union of a layer of antiacid vitreous with steel. This union makes a product that has a characteristic of brightness and inalterable color. This process is done at 850ºC (1562ºF).
  • Colors: black, blue, green, brown.
  • Fastening system: Often we recommend cla2ga (steel nails). In windy areas towane.
  • Coverage: 2.33 panels per sqm.
  • Packaging: cardboard boxes (1220x430x90mm) containing 25 roof tiles. Wood pallets (1000x1200x80mm) containing up to 400 roof tiles.
  • Storage and handling: All the metal tiles need to be stored in dry places free of dust until the moment of its installation. We recommend that the material is kept in its original packaging. In case of handling the material to another pallet, it should be done carefully.

Minimum slope: the metal tiles have a minimum slope of 14º for the installation.
