In March of 2008, the Piaggio Brothers, Horacio, Fernando, Gustavo and Angel were associated in various commercial businesses. One night they got together to have dinner and speak about their projects. It was at that moment that they decided to keep investing in Gualeguay and opted to try with turism. Even though Gualeguay was not a touristic place, it made this a really interesting challenge. The first idea was to do a hotel by the seashore but while they were looking for the perfect place they were offered a property of 77,000 sqm, a country side at the north of the city in a nice area by the national road 12 km 234.5 and close the most important spa resort of the city and near some nice places to visit (Old Bridge of the railroad and Old hydrant of the city)
